Unicef is started after the second World war at 1946, by the VN, most of all to help the children who were the victims of this war in Europe.
After the second world war was in the destroyed Europe rightly help needed.
There was not enough food, clothes and firing.
and there was scarcely medicines.
Million children were lost they’re houses and families and were sick and exhaust.

At 1950 the help of Unicef wasn’t needed anymore in Europe.
But in a lot of other lands like Asia Latin-America and Africa was help rightly needed.
Unicef wasn’t only given stuff, but also educations. They learned (taught) people to read to write to raise growths and learned how to become a teacher or doctor.
In 3 years time Unicef had helped 10 million people.

the slogan of Unicef in the Netherlands is without u no Unicef
